DEVIPRASAD GOENKA MANAGEMENT COLLEGE OF MEDIA STUDIES is set to embark upon an exciting journey; our destination is to create a centre of excellence in the field of Advertising, Communication, Media and Entertainment.

I invite you to join in our journey of our PGDM program and share the excitement of this voyage.

To say that media is everywhere is cliché. However, this cliché poses both umpteen challenges as well as opportunities. While the digitally-enabled world offers unprecedented opportunities on one hand, the ability to leverage the advantages of this communications revolution requires a sharp understanding of the domain. What cannot be forgotten in this euphoria is that a responsible and socially-oriented media is critical to the functioning of a
plural society. Only well-grounded professionals can bring this nuanced understanding to the working of the media industry.

The essence of DGMC lies in creating practitioners who can assimilate intellect, creativity, skill and integrity and achieve highest standards of professional expertise and conduct.

We promise to keep pace and help future generations understand and hopefully predict changes that will govern advertising and media decisions.

Our courses are designed by the industry meant for the industry. At the classroom level, the interface with industry stalwarts helps in keeping pace with market changes and understanding the needs of an ever growing industry. Our institute has several plans that will benefit large number of students who aspire to become media and communication professionals.

DGMC offers a two year full-time (2 year), program with distinctly different specializations and yet, delivering a unique and complementary blend of Media and Entertainment and Advertising and Communications theories coupled with practice.

Our vision for the future spans greater recognition as an institute with proven academic standards, higher industry interactions and collaborations with other academic institutions also focusing on the Media and Entertainment and Advertising and Communications fields, and developing ourselves as the Centre of Excellence in Advertising, Communication, Media and Entertainment.

We are also laying greater emphasis on Training and Capability Enhancement Programs (for industry and academia) in the field of Media and Communications, leveraging our excellent infrastructure, in-house capabilities and also the unique strengths of our industry network.
